For some of you, it may be annual giving, open enrollment or campaign month. We are very fortunate to work in an area where so many companies offer corporate match or incentives for volunteering in the community. The Norwalk Student Education Foundation has established itself with the United Way and Iowa One Gift as a designated donation organization. We have also partnered with several companies as a corporate match partner (Wells Fargo, ING, Wellmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Iowa, Principal, etc). If you work for a company that does offer corporate match but it is not set up, please feel free to contact us and we will help get that arranged. Additionally, we have arranged with Norwalk Schools to offer monthly direct deposit/payroll deduct for employees.
As you know, NSEF is a nonprofit 501c3 foundation which works for the betterment of our community by providing scholarships to students and grants to teachers. This past year we awarded over $6000 in student scholarships and $500 to a teacher for field trips. Although we consistently apply for grants from other organizations, we are supported by the community in the form of donations and endowments. We rely on your support.
We just want to let you know we are here. If it is open enrollment for your company, consider designating us. If your company offers corporate match of volunteerism incentives, consider Norwalk Student Education Foundation.
Thanks for your continued support and contributions
